Outside of his passion for fly tying\, he works as a Senior Technology Engineer for an Anglo-American investment firm. \nFocus of the Evening\nLearn practical techniques for tying predator flies to build and replenish your fly box. \nPaul will supply all hooks\, flash and kanakelon. \nTyers are asked to bring: \n\nThreads: Veniard Galaxy GSP 100 Denier: White or Veevus GSP 100D white.\nBucktail (whole large tail) in white. DESCRIPTION:Members are limited to a maximum of four tickets each. \nThe Guest Speaker this year is Mr Ian Gordon.  Ian is a true legend in the world of salmon fishing. Having cast his first fly at age eight\, he brings over four decades of experience as an international guide and expert on the rivers Spey and Deveron. A world-champion spey caster\, designer of cutting-edge fishing tackle with Ken Walker\, Carron\, Shakespeare\, Partridge  Hardy and  Cadence\, and pioneer in the biomechanics of the double-handed Spey rod\, Ian’s expertise is matched only by his deep passion for conservation and teaching.
